Teach for Romania believes that inspired management and great teachers are crucial in order to solve the problems in the national education system and to ensure access to education for every child in Romania.
By mobilizing the most promising future leaders of Romania, TfR will create a movement for change that will work on multiple levels to ensure that all children can receive an excellent education.
Our teachers will have a positive impact on their students, ensuring that every one of them fully participates in school learning and improves his or her academic achievements. Through their own experiences in classrooms and communities, TfR Alumni will develop a deeper understanding of the challenges in the education system and the ways to surpass them. They will take an increased personal responsibility towards addressing them in the long run.
TfR Alumni will create therefore a network of leaders who will work on multiple levels in education, policy, business and other areas to drive the necessary change in the national education system. As teachers and principals, administrators and policy makers, doctors and lawyers, corporate leaders and social entrepreneurs, our alumni will work together, in various sectors, to make our vision a reality.
